I have been searching for a scarf to wear with my black wool coat that will go with any outfit. Since I couldn’t find anything in the stores, I decided to make my own using my leftover yarn. The stitch I used gives it a open-knit chevron effect adding movement and detail. I LOVE IT!!!

Here’s how I did it:

Cast on 22 stitches, worked 4 rows in garter stitch (knit every row) and then followed the pattern below over and over and over again!

Row 1: *K2 together, K2 together, YO, K1, YO, K1, YO, K1, YO, K2 together, K2 together, Repeat from *

Row 2-4: Knit

Last Row: Cast off knit wise
